Remove

Remove roof strip (1)

 For this purpose, release adhesively bonded connections (arrows) of roof strip (1) and unclip roof strip (1).

 Replace roof strip (1).

Clean

Clean contact surfaces of adhesively bonded connections (arrows)


Contact surfaces must be clean, dry and free of dust and grease.
This ensures optimal adhesion.



Check

Check fastening sleeves (2) for damage

Depending on findings



Replace damaged fastening sleeves (2).



Install

Remove carrier foils at new roof strip (1)

Install roof strip (1)


Glue on roof strip (1) at an ambient temperature of approx. 20 °C.
Otherwise adhesion problems may occur.

 For this purpose, install roof strip (1) at fastening sleeves (2) and firmly press adhesively bonded connections (arrows) from outside onto contact surfaces.
