2 | Detach drain hose (10) from tank filling recess (1) | ||
3 | Remove tank flap | ||
4 | Detach check strap (2) from tank flap hinge | ||
5.1 | Remove rubber plugs (arrows) | If installed tank filling recess (1) has already been removed previously. | |
5.2 | Drill through recesses with 3 mm drill bit (arrows) | If installed tank filling recess (1) is being removed for the first time. | |
6 | Unscrew AdBlue® cap (3) from filler neck | Model 213, 238 | |
7 | Unclip catch hooks (5) and remove actuator motor (4) from tank filling recess (1) | ||
8 | Disconnect electrical connector (4) from actuator motor | ||
9 | Release catch hooks (7) in succession using suitable screwdriver (6) through bores (arrows) and pull tank filler recess (1) out of body opening | ||
10 | Slip seal (11) over tank cap | Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l | |
