Remove

Mask repair area around company sign (1) with suitable adhesive tape

Heat up company sign (1) to approx. 40 °C and remove it



Carefully remove company sign (1).
Otherwise the paint on the engine hood (2) can be damaged.

Install

Attach adhesive strip (3) beneath the edge of the bead (4) so it is flush

 The adhesive tape (3) serves as assembly aid.

Mark center axle of the bead (4) on the adhesive strip (3) (arrow A)

Attach adhesive strips (5) in lower area of company sign (1) as shown

Extend tip of company sign (1) downward to adhesive strips (5) and mark correspondingly (arrow B)

Remove carrier foil from new company sign (1)

Position company sign (1) on bead (4) and align it using auxiliary lines (arrow A and arrow B) marked on adhesive strips (3, 5) and glue on


Glue on company sign (1) at an ambient temperature of approx. 20 °C.
Otherwise adhesion problems may occur.

Remove adhesive strip (3, 5)



Clean

Remove adhesive residues from engine hood (2)
