Installation: Ensure that the sleeve (7) is seated correctly. | |||
2 | Release the corners of the bumper (2) and pull out (arrow) | ||
3 | Remove the retaining clip (3) on the center section of the bumper (2) | Check the condition of the retaining clip (3); replace if necessary. | |
4 | Remove screws (4) | Screw/bolt for rear bumper | |
5 | Remove the rear-end doors from the brackets and open all the way to the end stop | Vehicles except code W65 (tailgate) | |
6 | Pull the bumper (2) on the left side of the vehicle back slightly | Vehicles with code EZ8 (PARKTRONIC) | |
7 | Unscrew nuts (5). | Vehicles with code EZ8 (PARKTRONIC), except code XZ1 (model generation 1) | |
