Detaching
1 Detach combustion air line and exhaust gas line (1, 2) from heater.
2 Detach flange plate (3) and flange gasket (4) from heater.
Check condition of flange gasket (4) and replace if necessary.

3 Detach air outlet (5) from casing housing.
4 Unlock and remove air intake grill (8)
5 Detach upper casing half (6) from lower casing half (7).
Drive through drift of body-bound rivets (arrow A) using a suitable tool and lever out rivet (9) using the blade of a knife.
6 Remove lower casing half (7).

Installation
7 Position lower casing half.
The recess clearances (arrow B) on the lower casing half must contact the fixing hooks
(arrow C).
8 Mount the upper casing half on the lower casing half and connect both parts with new body-bound rivets.
Ensure that the casing halves are correctly seated. If not installed accurately there is the risk that the blower wheel will foul the casing housing and be damaged as a result.
9 Mount and lock air intake grill.
10 Push air outlet onto the casing housing.
11 Attach flange plate with flange gasket to the heater.
12 Attach combustion air line and exhaust gas line.
