Detaching

1 Detach air outlet (1) from casing housing.

2 Detach upper casing half (3) from lower casing half (2).

Drive through drift of body-bound rivets (arrow A) using a suitable tool and lever out rivet (4) using the blade of a knife.

3 Remove lower casing half (2).

4 Detach upper and lower insulating shell (5).

Installation

5 Attach upper and lower insulating shell.

6 Position lower casing half.

The recess clearance (arrow B) in the lower casing half must contact the fixing hooks (arrow C).

7 Mount the upper casing half on the lower casing half and connect both parts with new body-bound rivets.

Ensure that the casing halves are correctly seated. If not installed accurately there is the risk that the blower wheel will foul the casing housing and be damaged as a result.

8 Push air outlet onto the casing housing.
