Danger!

Risk of explosion caused by welding or soldering work on closed air conditioning system. Risk of poisoning caused by inhaling overheated refrigerant vapors. Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by contact with liquid refrigerant.

Never perform welding work on or near a closed air conditioning system. No smoking or open flames. Wear safety glasses and protective gloves. Work only in well ventilated areas. Carry out repair work on the air conditioning system circuit only after the system has been discharged.

Detach connection plate (7) for refrigerant line (2) from distributor block (8)

Installation: Use new sealing ring. Coat sealing ring with refrigeration oil before installation.

Disconnect line connection (9)

Installation: Use new sealing ring. Coat sealing ring with refrigeration oil before installation.

Raise vehicle

With lifting platform.

Disconnect line connections (4) of the refrigerant lines at the front left underfloor

Installation: Use new sealing rings. Coat sealing rings with refrigeration oil before installation.

Detach line holder (3) of refrigerant lines at the underfloor

Detach damping mount (5) from the underfloor and remove from the refrigerant lines

Detach refrigerant lines from the underfloor

Install in the reverse order

Evacuate the air conditioning system, refill it, and then check the system to make sure that it functions correctly and does not leak.
