1 | Activate stationary air-conditioning solenoid valve (Y74) | The stationary air-conditioning solenoid valve has to be activated in order to carry out the discharge, evacuation with leak test and charging tasks. | |
2 | Discharge air conditioning system | ||
3 | Remove the solenoid-coil housing from the stationary air-conditioning solenoid valve (Y74) | ||
| Protect air conditioning circuit and components from moisture when carrying out repair work | All models fitted with air conditioning | |
4 | Remove the union nut on the refrigerant lines on the stationary air-conditioning solenoid valve (Y74) and take the solenoid valve off | Hold the solenoid valve steady against the union nut when removing and tightening it. Where necessary, slacken off the refrigerant line's fastening clip slightly, in order to facilitate the removal of the solenoid valve. | |
5 | Install in the reverse order | ||
6 | Evacuate air conditioning system, fill and carry out leak test | ||
7 | Remove shop-made line and connect the plug connector to the stationary air-conditioning solenoid valve (Y74) |
