Remove

1

Set the air distribution to central and lateral nozzles

Close the central and lateral nozzles

3

Switch off the blower and the air conditioning

4

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m)

Remove the dust filter



Remove blower motor

Clean

Place a suitable receptacle (1) under the condensation drain (2)

Increase bending radius of cleaning probe (3) slightly, as shown

When using cleaning probe (3) for first time.


Carefully and gradually bend cleaning probe (3) at various points.
Otherwise, the cleaning probe (3) may kink or break.

Insert cleaning probe (3) into air duct (4) until the outlet openings (A) are located in front of the evaporator (5)


Handle the cleaning probe (3) with care.
Otherwise, the evaporator (5) will be damaged.

 The finger support of the guide pulley (6) must face forwards.

Cover up air duct (4) using suitable rag


The cleaner must not penetrate the air duct (4) or the air vents in the vehicle interior.
Otherwise soiling and damage can occur.

Fully press trigger of pressure-feed spray gun (7) for approx. 2 seconds

Check the condensation drain (2) for blockage

If the cleaner does not run smoothly from the condensation drain (2).



Clean the condensation drain (2).

Fully press trigger of pressure-feed spray gun (7) and rinse all the slats on the evaporator (5) using the cleaner

 Use the entire content of the pressure-feed spray gun (7).

Allow the cleaner to act for at least 30 minutes


Do not rinse with water or other fluids.
Otherwise the antiseptic effect of the cleaner will be rendered void.

Fully press the trigger of the pressure-feed spray gun (7) and blow out all the slats on the evaporator (5) for a minimum of 2 minutes using compressed air

Remove the rags from the air duct (4)

Pull out the cleaning probe (3) from the air duct (4)

Remove receptacle (1) as soon as cleaner no longer drips out

19

Correctly dispose of the receptacle (1) as per environmental regulations



Install

Install blower motor

Drying

 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Open front and rear doors

Open the central and lateral nozzles

Start engine

Switch on air conditioning

Set the air distribution to defrosting and footwell nozzles

Set the highest blower stage

Turn the air conditioning temperature control to center position and allow the air conditioning to dry for 20 min

Switch off air conditioning system blower

Switch off the air conditioning

Turn off engine

Close front and rear doors
