Make sure ambient temperatures remain constant.
Otherwise, temperature changes during the pressure test (e.g. caused by a change in the weather or cooling down of the engine compartment over night) may cause pressure fluctuations.

 Do not fill air conditioning system with forming gas unless engine is cold.

 Keep to the leak tester manufacturer's operator's manual when connecting and operating the leak tester throughout the entire procedure.

Check for leaks in air conditioning system using gas detection unit

If no pressure drop was detected.


