Never perform welding work on or near a closed air conditioning system. No smoking or open flames. Wear safety glasses and protective gloves. Work only in well ventilated rooms. Carry out repair work on the air conditioning system circuit only after the system has been evacuated.

Discharge air conditioning system.

Remove bumper.

Remove front lower engine compartment lining.

Release front part of left front fender liner far enough until refrigerant pressure sensor (B12) is accessible.

Remove refrigerant line (21) from condenser (22), hang to one side and seal openings with suitable stop plugs.


Do not crush, kink or subject the refrigerant line (21) to tension.
This will cause damage to the refrigerant line (21) and can impair its function.

 Installation: Replace seal.

Release and disconnect electrical connector (20) from refrigerant pressure sensor (B12).

Remove refrigerant pressure sensor (B12).

 Pressure sensor to condenser
