	Draining
1	Remove cover (1).
2	Remove plugs (2).
3	Connect air conditioning service unit filler connections to corresponding service connections.

		 When operating the air conditioning service unit, proceed in accordance with the operator's manual from the manufacturer.
4	Extract refrigerant.
5	Note down quantity of extracted refrigerant as well as compressor oil.
6	Check receiver drier for re-usability.	If there is a problem,
		
		replace receiver drier.

	Evacuate
7	Clean refrigerant and evacuate refrigerant circuit.
8	Conduct vacuum test using air conditioning service unit.
	Filling
9	Add new compressor oil to the refrigerant circuit according to the oil filling capacity noted during extraction.

		 Only use the approved compressor oil. If it is proven that a different compressor oil has been used, we will refuse to reimburse costs within the warranty and goodwill period. Daimler AG reserves the right to perform reexaminations.
		 Correct oil filling quantity in refrigerant circuit. An incorrectly measured oil filling capacity leads to damage to the refrigerant compressor.
		 Depending on the repair case, the oil filling quantity may need to be adjusted accordingly.
