1 | Insert extraction hooks (2) with tip pointing upwards as shown into openings in upper area of center air vent (1) and release catch hooks (5) | Removal: Swiveling extraction hooks (2) outwards releases catch hooks (5). | |

2 | Pull center air vent (1) out of instrument panel until electrical connectors (3, 4) are accessible | Removal: On vehicles as of model year 2014 it may be necessary to press down spring (8) with extraction hooks (2). | |
