Remove/install

1

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2  m).

Remove cover from center console.

Remove bolts (5).

Remove control unit bracket (8) far enough from device installation slot to gain access to electrical connectors (3, 4) at rear of head unit (A26/17).

Release and disconnect electrical connectors (3, 4).

 The number of electrical connections (4) may vary depending on the vehicle equipment involved.

Remove bolts_(7).

Remove head unit (A26/17).

Install in the reverse order.

Perform commissioning of head unit (A26/17).

If the head unit (A26/17) has been replaced.


