Remove rear window

Remove AM/FM antenna module connector (X1/19) from bracket (3) and disconnect

Remove intermediate frequency antenna module connector (X1/20) from bracket (3) and disconnect

Remove antenna module supply connector (X1/22) from bracket (3) and disconnect

Unclip center line guides (1) and remove line

Unclip left line guides (2) and remove line

Remove antenna amplifier module sealing rails

 Installation: If no sealing rails have been installed at the vehicle, these must be retrofitted.

Heat up amplifier module 1, window antenna (A2/71) and detach from the rear window using an assembly wedge



Carefully heat up rear window.
Otherwise the rear window or adjacent components may be damaged.

 Installation: Replace amplifier module 1, window antenna (A2/71).

 Installation: When gluing on the amplifier module 1, window antenna (A2/71) ensure that, after removing the protective foil, this is immediately placed onto the rear window and pressed on for approx. 5 s.

Remove adhesive residues from rear window

 Installation: Treat bonding surface on rear window with activator or bonding agent.
