Warning

Injury hazard from pinching and crushing, in extreme cases extremities can even be cut off when caught in windshield wiper mechanism.

When working on the windshield wiper mechanism, always switch off the ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m).

Remove/install

Remove windshield wiper system

Pry off ball socket (1) of articulated rod (2) on ball head of the wiper motor (3)


Carefully pry off articulated rod (2).
Otherwise the articulated rod (2) will be deformed and thus damaged.

Installation: Apply a thin layer of lubricant on the inside of the ball socket (1).

Remove screws (4) and remove wiper motor (3) from wiper linkage (5)

Install in the reverse order
