Always remove ignition key when working on windshield wiper mechanism.

Remove transmitter key from electronic ignition switch control unit

The wiper arms (1) must be in the basic position before removal; if necessary, move wiper arms (1) to the basic position before removing the transmitter key.

Open engine hood

Detach washer fluid hose (2) of wiper arm (1) on waistrail

Unscrew nut (3)

Pry wiper arm (1) off the wiper shaft

Installation: When positioning the wiper arm (1), align the wiper blade to the marks (arrows) on the windshield.
