Install

Arrest outer emergency handle at outer side of cover.

Move lever mechanism (3) for roof or emergency escape at front and rear to open position.

Ensure that bolts (4) are pulled out of eye blocks (1) up to the stop.

Ensure that check strap of cover is seated correctly on roof frame

Check screw connection for check strap on cover, retighten if necessary.

Lay cover down on rocker arm (2)

Lay cover down so that rocker arms (2) are positioned in eye blocks (1).

Slide bolts (4) to eye blocks (1) up to stop.

Move rocker arms (2) slightly to facilitate sliding in the bolts (4).Install bolts (4) in dry state to prevent premature wear.

Check

Ensure that cover is correctly locked.

The position of the emergency actuation handles does not indicate whether or not the bolts (4) are arrested correctly.Ensure that bolts (4) are inserted correctly into rocker arms (2).The retaining balls (5) should be visible on all bolts (4).
