Topical note | Notes on removal/installation of bonded elements of panoramic roof
| Remove | ||
1 | Open side window in driver door. | To prevent front stationary element (1) on panoramic sliding roof just glued in from being pressed outwards by the air pressure when closing the doors.
2 | Determine gap dimension (A) between the front stationary element (1) and the flexible glass panel (3) and note down. | Feeler gauge
3 | Determine gap dimension (B) between the front stationary element (1) and the windshield (6) and note down. | Feeler gauge
4 | Open flexible glass panel (3) of the panoramic roof.
5 | Remove left and right roof railing. | Model 247.6/7
