Cut down adhesive beads (1) on body flange (2) to a remaining height of approx. 1 to 2 mm using a scraper.

Remove cutting residues from body flange (2).

Repair paint damage on body flange (2).

 Use only primer filler approved by Daimler AG:

Clean adhesive beads (1) on body flange (2).

 The cleaner is included in the repair kit.

Apply activator to body flange (2).

 Apply activator only after drying has dried.
Otherwise the strength of the adhesively bonded connection can be impaired and the required adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured.

 The activator is included in the repair kit.
