Switch on ignition

Open side window

Position test piece at top in center of window frame

 Ensure that the test piece material cannot damage the window or window frame, e.g. a piece of corrugated hose.
Align test body so that it cannot tip when hit by the side window.

Activate automatic side window closing feature and check anti-pinch protection on power window

 The side window must reverse immediately when it hits the test body.

If anti-pinch protection is not OK:



Connect diagnostic system, start XENTRY and perform guided troubleshooting.
