Remove/install

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2  m).

Remove rear license plate reinforcement.

Remove center liftgate trim.

Disconnect electrical connectors (2).

Disconnect electrical connection (3).

The actual number of connectors (3) will depend on the amount of equipment installed.

Disconnect electrical connection (4).

Unscrew nuts (5).

Remove handle (1) with trunk lid/liftgate external operation switch (S88/8) outward.

Use suitable tool to push bracket (6) downward.

When replacing handle (1).

Installation: Use suitable tool to carefully push bracket (6) upwards to end stop.

Release catch hooks and pull out retaining clip (7).

Pull out reversing camera (B84/3) or camera for rear 360° camera (B84/10) inwards.

Install in the reverse order
