Remove/install

Open front door

Ensure that the rear door (2) is completely closed


Do not open rear door (2) during entire work procedure.
Otherwise the upper hinge (3) can be damaged or the adjustment of the rear door (2) can be changed.

Unscrew nuts (4)

 Nut, lower hinge to rear door

Remove bolts (5)

 Bolt, lower edge to B-pillar

*BA72.12-N-1004-01P

Loosen lower hinge (1) on rear door (2) and B-pillar (6) and remove

Install in the reverse order

Repair paint damage on nuts (4) and bolts (5)



Check

8

Check lower hinge (1) for proper function
