1 | Press trim strip (1) off door control unit cover (2) with mounting wedge (5) | Mounting wedge | |
2 | Remove door handle cover (3) from door handle | ||
3 | Unscrew screws (15) and press door control unit cover (2) out of door lining (4) with mounting wedge (5) and remove | Mounting wedge | |
4 | Disconnect connectors from left, right door control unit (N69/3, N69/4) and remove door control unit cover (2) | ||
5 | Unscrew screws (10, 11) from door lining (4) | ||
6 | Unscrew screw (6) and remove lock cover plate (7) | ||
7 | Remove cover (12) and unscrew screw (13) | ||
8 | Unhook curtain (14) from bottom curtain rail (15) | ||
9 | Press door lining (4) off inner door panel (8) with mounting wedge (5) | Move mounting wedge (5) directly onto each retaining clip (9) and ensure that the retainer tabs of the retaining clips do not tear out of the door lining . | |

10 | Pry door lining (4) upward out of sealing rail with mounting wedge (5) and simultaneously pull away from inner door panel (8) | Mounting wedge | |
11 | Unhook Bowden cable from inside door opener | ||
12 | Separate curtain cable (16) | Pry clips (17) off with screwdriver | |
Installation: Check for proper function and wrap felt tape around separation point. | |||
Anti-rattle tape (self-adhesive felt tape). | |||
13 | Disconnect electrical connectors from door lining (4) and lay down door lining | ||

14 | Check insulating mat and retaining clips (9) | Replace damaged insulating mat and retaining clips. | |
15 | Install in the reverse order | Installation:Remove remaining retaining clips (9) from inner door panel and install at corresponding position on door lining (4) |
