Remove/install

Remove mirror triangle cover (2)

Pull handle (14) of inside door opener (13), unclip cover (3) and remove

 Extraction hook

Unscrew bolt (4)

Unclip door handle cover (5) at retaining lugs (arrows) and retaining clips (6) and remove


Carefully unclip door handle cover (5).
Retaining lugs (arrows) will otherwise break off.

Remove exit and warning lamp (8)

Unclip door trim (1) at retaining clips (9) and remove upward from front door until retaining clip (15) can be accessed

Unclip retaining clip (15) from door trim (1)

 Clip remover

Disconnect Electrical connections (10)

 The number of electrical connectors (10) depends on the vehicle equipment and installation location of door trim (1).

Detach cable (12) from inside door opener (13) and remove door trim (1)

Install in the reverse order



Check

Perform function check of exit and warning lamp (8), front door operating unit (11) and inside door opener (13)
