| Remove, Install | ||
1 | Switch off ignition | ||
2 | Cover the instrument panel | To protect against damage and dirt. | |
3 | Remove center section of headliner | ||
4 | Remove paneling from A-pillar | ||
5 | Expose electrical leads on A-pillar on passenger side | The electrical leads should be exposed from the headliner to the instrument panel so that it is possible to remove front headliner (1). | |
6 | Unscrew screws (3) in center stowage box (2) | ||
7 | Unscrew screws (3) in stowage compartment on passenger side (5) | ||
8 | Remove sun visors (6) | ||
9 | Remove clearance lamps | ||
10 | Remove clearance lamp cable harness from roof frame | ||
11 | Unscrew screws (3) from front headliner (1) | ||
12 | Remove front headliner (1) and expose electrical leads at rear of headliner | Cut cable straps off of electrical leads | |
13 | Remove front headliner (1) | ||
14 | Install in the reverse order | ||
15 | Perform function test on the electrical system |
