Fold forward seat backrest in left and right rear passenger compartment.

Remove rear-end center-section trim.

Remove tie-down eyes (3).

Remove retaining clips (2).

Release trim (1) until electrical connector of trunk socket (X58/12x1) can be accessed.

with code U35 (12 V socket in load area)


Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension.
This will result in damage to the electric lines and can impair their function.

Release and disconnect electrical connector of trunk socket (X58/12x1).

Remove side trim (1) in trunk.

 Installation: Ensure edge guard is correctly seated in working area.

Transfer trunk socket (X58/12x1).

with code U35 (12 V socket in load area)
When replacing trim (1).

Install in the reverse order.
