Remove/Install

Remove cargo space cover

On vehicles with cargo space cover

Remove storage compartment (2)

 Press locking lever (8) upward and remove stowage compartment.

Unscrew screw (6) and remove belt end fitting (5)

 Installation: Install spacer sleeve (7) between belt end fitting (5) and C-pillar.



Remove edge guard in area of side wall paneling.

Unscrew screws (3)

Unclip side wall paneling (1) and remove

Unclip clips (10, 11) with long wedge

Press side wall paneling (1) upward out of clips (9) and remove.
 Installation: Check clips (10, 11) and clips (9), replace if necessary.



Guide belt through and remove side wall paneling (1).

Disconnect connector from 12V trunk/cargo space socket.

 Only when removing right side wall paneling.

Install in the reverse order
