1 | Remove cover on gearshift lever | ||
2 | Remove ashtray housing (3) | Installation: Check ashtray housing mechanism (3) for proper function, if necessary loosen threaded connection of center console (1) and tighten center console (1) without tension. | |
3 | Unclip covers (4) in installation opening of ashtray housing (3). | ||
4 | Remove bolts (5) | Installation: Ensure that center console (1) is installed without tension. | |
5 | Remove bolts (7) on shift gate. | Installation: Ensure that center console (1) is installed without tension. | |
6 | Remove bolts (8) | Installation: Ensure that center console (1) is installed without tension. | |
7 | Loosen bolt (6) approx. one half turn on left and right | to unlock arresting pins on center console (1). | |
8 | Pullout floor covering at transition area between center console (1) and upper control panel in front passenger footwell and disconnect electrical connectors (9). | ||
9 | Remove center console (1) | ||
10 | Reinstall in opposite order |
