1 Expose spot welds on front roof frame (1) and cut out (areas A, B, C1, C2, D1 and D2).

Cut out spot welds on front roof frame (1) through double panel thickness (areas C1, C2, D1 and D2).

2 Cut MIG-solder seams on front roof frame (1) (areas E, F, G1, G2, G3 and G4).

3 Remove damaged front roof frame (1).

4 Sand connection surfaces down to bare metal in the cross-hatched areas.

Grind spot weld flanges down to bare metal on both sides.

5 Remove shavings and drill chips.

6 Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
