Set of spacer blocks
The following operation steps are shown on model 167.3 except code 414 (Sliding roof).
The higher-level service document as well as the safety information in the service document must be observed.
1 | Install center roof paneling (1), fit with set of spacer blocks and fix in place. |
When removing, observe specified dimensions and positions of set of spacer blocks. |
2 | Drill out rivet holes in center roof paneling (1) with Ø 6.7 mm (areas A). |
3 | Remove center roof paneling (1). |
4 | Deburr rivet holes on center roof paneling (1) and body on both sides. |
5 | Remove drilling chips. |

6 | Apply anti-flutter adhesive to roof frame (areas B). |
Observe processing specification for relining adhesive. |
7 | Apply 2-component adhesive on body in cross-hatched areas (areas C). |
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and manufacturer's specifications for drying and processing time of 2-component adhesive. |

8 | Apply lining adhesive to roof frame (areas D). |
Observe processing specification for relining adhesive. |

10 | Rivet center roof paneling (1) with rivet Ø 6.5x12.5 (areas E). |
11 | Rivet center roof paneling (1) with rivet Ø 6.4x12 (areas F). |
