The following operation steps are shown on the right side roof paneling (1) for model 906.733, and they must be performed in a similar manner for any damage on the left side of vehicles with code (T19) Left sliding door and code (D03) Roof and rear-end doors, high version.
1 Scribe separation line on side roof paneling (1) (area B).
Scribe separation line slightly above slanted area on connection flange.
2 Cut side roof paneling (1) at separating point (area B).
3 Punch 6 mm dia. holes in side roof paneling (1) (areas A, D and E).
4 Grind mating surfaces on side roof paneling (1) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.
Grind spot weld flanges down to bare metal on both sides.
5 Grind crosshatched areas on side roof paneling (1) down to bare metal around holes.
6 Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
