Remove

Open platform cover (1) and dropside

Remove gas-operated struts (6)

 Unclip pneumatic springs (6) from mounting bolts (7) of platform cover (1).
Helper required.

Remove platform cover (1)

 To do this, remove the hinge bolts (2).
Aid of 2 helpers required.



Install

Install platform cover (1)

 To do this, position hinges (3) of platform cover (1) on cutout (arrow a) of sealing rail (4) and install hinge bolts (2) as shown.
Aid of 2 helpers required.

Engage hinge bolts (2) in cutout (arrow b) on sealing rail (4)

Install gas-operated struts (6)

 Unclip pneumatic springs (6) on mounting bolts (7) of platform cover (1).
Helper required.

Close platform cover (1) and dropside
