Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove/install

Remove existing detachable parts

 Depending on the equipment variant or the installed body, there may be additional detachable parts.

Remove rear bumper

Remove expansion rivet (4)

 Installation: Check expansion rivets (4) for damage.

Depending on findings



Replace damaged expansion rivets (4).

Release catches (2) and remove trims (3, 5)

 To do this, press catches (2) together (arrows).

 Installation: Ensure that catches (2) are seated correctly.

Disconnect electrical connector (6)

Unscrew bolt (7)

Remove fuel filler cap (10)

 To do this, attach suitable stop plug (11).

 Record plug

Remove filler neck (8) and seal (9)

Disconnect electrical connectors (12, 13)

Detach cable tie (14)

 Installation: Install new cable tie (14).

Remove electrical wiring harness (15)

Remove screw/bolts (29)

Slightly lift platform (1) from frame



Lift platform (1) carefully and ensure that platform (1) does not make contact with the driver's cab.
Otherwise, the platform (1) and driver's cab may be damaged.



Otherwise, the platform (1) and driver's cab may be damaged.

Install in the reverse order

Calibrate backup camera

Model 470 with code FR8 (Reversing camera), model 470 with code JS1 (360° camera)



Connect/disconnect diagnostic unit
