| Remove/install | ||
1 | Perform commissioning of the corresponding side camera (10). | When replacing left or right side camera (10). | |

2 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||
3 | Remove turn signal lamp in outside mirror. | ||
4 | Remove mirror lens. | ||
5 | Remove screws (12) and remove outside mirror adjustment motor (13) until the electrical connector (14) is accessible. | ||
6 | Disconnect electrical connector (14) and remove outside mirror adjustment motor (13). | ||
7 | Remove outside mirror. | ||
8 | Detach plug housing (1) from electric line (2). | ||
9 | Detach seal (3) from mirror base and pull electric line (2) out of seal (3). | ||
10 | Unclip cover (4) using a suitable tool (arrows A) and remove. | ||
11 | Guide electric line (2) out of mirror base and remove from upper section of mirror housing (5). | Installation: Ensure that electrical line (2) is routed correctly. | |
12 | Remove screw/bolts (6). | ||
13 | Unclip and remove rear section of mirror housing (7) from upper section of mirror housing (5). | ||
14 | Unclip lower section of mirror housing (8) in area of catches (arrows B) from upper section of mirror housing (5). | ||
15 | Release lower section of mirror housing (8) far enough that the screws (9) are accessible. | ||
16 | Unscrew screws/bolts (9). | ||
17 | Remove side camera (10) with holder (11) from lower section of mirror housing (8). | ||
18 | Unclip side camera (10) from holder (11) (arrows C) and remove holder (11). | When replacing side camera (10). | |
19 | Install in the reverse order | ||
20.1 | Calibrate left or right side camera (10). | After removing left or right side camera (10). | |

20.2 | Calibrate left and right side cameras (10) as well as front and reversing cameras. | After removing left and right side cameras (10). | |

21 | Perform function check on 360° camera. |
