| Remove/install | ||
1 | Commission instrument cluster (1) using vehicle diagnosis system. | If instrument cluster (1) is to be replaced. | |

2 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||
3 | Remove trim (4). | ||
4 | Unscrew screws (2) until the instrument cluster (1) is released in the lower area of the device installation frame. | The bolts (2) remain on the instrument cluster (1). | |
5 | Unclip instrument cluster (1) in upper area and remove from device installation frame until the electrical connector (3) is accessible. | ||
6 | Disconnect electrical connector (3). | ||
7 | Remove instrument cluster (1), at the side between steering wheel and instrument panel, toward front passenger side. | | |
8 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| Check | ||
9 | Carry out function test of instrument cluster (1). |
