Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS

Only if instrument cluster is replaced (P15).

Perform control module adaptation, make written record of odometer reading

Only if instrument cluster is replaced (P15).

Take plastic cover (1) off instrument cluster (P15)

Replace plastic cover (1) if required.

Screw slot of plastic cover (1) in vertical position "locked".

SScrew slot of plastic cover (1) in horizontal position "open".

Unscrew screws (2)

Do not damage instrument panel and instrument cluster (P15).

Remove left air vent

Push out instrument cluster (P15) from behind (arrow)

Do not damage instrument panel and instrument cluster (P15).

Release plug connections (P15.1 and P15.2) and pull off connections

Plug connections are color coded.

Remove instrument cluster (P15)

Do not damage instrument panel and instrument cluster (P15).

Install in the reverse order

Inspecting

10.1

Read buffered values in new instrument cluster (P15), enter total distance counter manually

Only if instrument cluster is replaced (P15).

Read fault memory with STAR DIAGNOSIS and erase
