Remove/install

Carry out commissioning of signal acquisition and actuation module (1) using vehicle diagnosis system.

If the signal acquisition and actuation module (1) is replaced.



Remove footwell trim on driver's side.

Adjust steering column into uppermost position.

Unclip line bracket (2.1) from holder (5).

Unclip line bracket (2.2) from holder (5) and take electrical wiring harness (2) out of working area.

Remove screw (3).

Unscrew screw (4).

 Caution

Risk of injury caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts

Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.

Lift signal acquisition and actuation module (1) in direction of arrow and then remove from holder (5).

 Installation: Ensure that the guide hooks (6) are correctly placed into the relevant holder (5) cutouts.

Unclip line bracket (2.3).

Disconnect electrical connectors (7) and remove signal acquisition and actuation module (1).

Install in the reverse order
