Initial checks

 The PSM control module is supplied ex-factory with a specific parameterization for the vehicle.
A later specific parameterization adaptation, requested by the customer is not part of the supply scope and cannot be claimed as guarantee. The resulting costs will be assumed by the petitioner (Implementer/ Body builder).
Parameterizations can be carried out by any Mercedes-Benz Dealer or authorized workshop.

On DAS, perform quick test.

Access the "PSM" control module

Select "Control mechanism drive adaptation"

Select "Parameterizations"



In order not to loose the current parameters, it is possible to create a safety copy on external media:



Emit current safety copy with Star Diagnosis?

YES, save PSM control unit parameters.

Select "General parameter assemblies".

On the menu Parameterizations:



In the parameterization of new functions pay attention, so that a double pin occupation does not occur.

On the "Set of general parameters":



In this point of the menu, all functions can be freely parameterized.

Select the function / service desired.

 Select all parameters.

Modify the desired assembly of parameters

 Confirm the modification of the parameters with the key "F3".

 After the modification of the assembly of parameters, one has to generate a print of all the parameters for on-vehicle filing.
