No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and glasses. Only pour battery acid into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Remove/install

Disconnect the ground line for the on-board electrical system battery(G1).

Unclip positive pole cover (2) from prefuse box (1) through openings (arrows).

Unscrew nuts (3).

 Nut, electric line to prefuse box

*BA54.10-N-1003-01P

Unscrew nut (4).

 Nut, prefuse box to battery positive terminal

*BA54.10-N-1005-01P

Lift prefuse box (1) over threaded pin (5) and remove positive lines (6) from prefuse box (1).

Disconnect electrical connectors (7) and remove prefuse box (1).

Install in the reverse order
