Remove/install

Remove pyrofuse (2).

Release and disconnect electrical connector (1) from voltage dip limiter (R62).

Release, disconnect and remove electrical connector (3) from front battery cover (4).

Remove degassing hose (5) from on-board electrical system battery (G1).

Unscrew screw (6) and remove front battery cover (4).

Installation: Ensure that guides are seated correctly.

Bolt, side wall to battery frame

Carefully bend up electrical conduction band (17).

Loosen nut (14) on positive terminal clamp (16) and remove positive line (18).

Nut, starter wiring harness to current limiter

Loosen nut (15) on positive terminal clamp (16).

Nut, ground line (battery sensor) to battery terminal

Remove voltage dip limiter (R62).

The positive terminal clamp (16) cannot be disconnected from the voltage dip limiter (R62).

Install in the reverse order.
