 Fill out the form appropriately and send it to the next higher sales stage (wholesale) so that this can perform changes.
The documentation in the next higher sales stage (wholesale) must have been have been created before the VeDoc hotline is contacted, for example for "rehooking" the exhaust aftertreatment (ACM) control unit its linking with the EATU.

Start VeDoc.

In the "Vehicles" tab, enter the vehicle identification number in the search field.

 For search criteria the "vehicle ident number" must have been set beforehand.

Select the "Major assemblies" sub-tab on the "Vehicles" tab.

Select the major assembly identification number in the "Major assembly number" column in the "Exhaust gas aftertreatment" line and make this editable by clicking on the "Replace major assembly" button and then enter the new major assembly identification number.

 For the 14-digit major assembly identification number, see identification plate on new exhaust gas aftertreatment unit.

Save changes by clicking the "Save" button.

In the "Vehicles" tab, select the sub-tab "AO Texts".

Using the command button "Insert text" in the KG 00, enter a text in which the kilometer reading of the vehicle and the date at the point in time of installation of the new EATU are documented.

 The actual installation date must be recorded in the AO text also when the point in time of documentation deviates from this.
The text should be formulated as follows:
EATU replaced on xx.xx.xxxx for a kilometer reading of xxxxxx.

Save changes by clicking the "Save" button.

Select the sub-tab "SAA numbers" in the "Vehicles" tab.

Only for engine 470.9, 471.9, 473.9 with code M5Z (Engine version Euro VI).
Only if a Generation I (Wave 1) EATU is replaced by a Generation II (Wave 2) EATU.
