| Observe notes regarding disposal of catalytic converters! | Catalytic converters must not be disposed of as regular scrap. | |
1 | Unscrew bolts (8) from exhaust manifold (1) | Installation: Inspect condition of gasket, install new gasket if necessary, tighten flange connection evenly. | |

2 | Detach rubber exhaust mount (5) | ||
3 | Detach connection (2) between exhaust system (3) and catalytic converter (4) | | |
4 | Remove three-way catalytic converter (4) | Check the flanges of the exhaust pipes and, if necessary, use abrasive paper to remove any combustion and corrosion residue. Replace the connection cone. | |
5 | Install in the reverse order | ||
