Raise vehicle with vehicle lift

Detach center muffler (159) from front exhaust system (1), for this step unscrew bolts (2)

Installation: Clean connecting points free of combustion and corrosion residues. Replace seal (3) and bolts (2).

Support rear exhaust system (4) with transmission jack and transmission platform

Unhinge rear exhaust system (4) from exhaust rubber mounts (5)

Use liquid lubricant if necessary.

Installation: Check exhaust rubber mount (5) for wear, replace if required.

Check installation position and clearance of exhaust system

The exhaust system must be mounted free of tension, align exhaust system if required.

Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
