1 | Remove bottom section of soundproofing | ||
2 | Release spring connection between near-engine mounted CAT (120/1) and underfloor CAT (120/2) | Remove combustion residues at the connecting points with the emery cloth. | |
Removal: Use pipe wrench pliers to press together disk springs (a, b) and press off metal tongue with screwdriver. Installation: Press disk springs (a, b) together using pipe wrench pliers until metal tongue engages. | |||
3 | Remove nuts (11/2) on transmission bracket (11/1) | Removal: Support exhaust system. Installation: Install new self-locking nuts. | |
4 | Unscrew bolts (11/9) for rear exhaust system exhaust rubber bearing (9/2) | Check rubber mount (9/2) for damage; install new mount if necessary. | |
5 | Unbolt bolts (11/6) with nuts (11/7) from exhaust-rubber mount (9/1) | Check rubber mount (9/1) for damage; install new mount if necessary. | |
6 | Remove bolts (11/11) and strut (11/10) | ||
7 | Take off exhaust system | Installation: Install exhaust system free of tension. | |
8 | Install in the reverse order |
