Disconnect connectors for lambda sensors

Unscrew bolts (11/5) with nuts (11/3) at flange connection between front exhaust system / rear exhaust system

Unscrew bolts (11/1) at flange connection between front exhaust system / exhaust manifold

If bolts are sluggish, or thread damaged:

Replace rivet nuts in exhaust manifold.

Unscrew nuts (11/2) on bracket

Replace nuts.

Lift out three way catalytic converters (158) or front exhaust system

Check seal rings (11/4) for damage and replace if necessary.

Use emery cloth to clean connection points free of combustion and corrosion residues.

Replace nuts (11/3).

6

Install in the reverse order

Installation:

Install three-way catalytic converters (158) without stress.
