Remove/install

Remove voltage of high-voltage on-board electrical system.

Store transmitter key outside the transmitter range (at least 2 m).

Unclip high voltage lines (2) from bracket (3) (arrows A).

Turn screw (4) counterclockwise until locking element has fully released and disconnect high-voltage plug (4.1) from high-voltage power distributor (1).

Release locking element (5).

Release high-voltage plug (5.1) on both sides and disconnect from high-voltage power distributor (1).

Release locking element (6).

Release high-voltage plug (6.1) on both sides and disconnect from high-voltage power distributor (1).

Release locking element (7).

Release high-voltage plug (7.1) on both sides and disconnect from high-voltage power distributor (1).

Release locking element (8).

Release high-voltage plug (8.1) on both sides and disconnect from high-voltage power distributor (1).

Cover electrical connections with suitable protective covers.

Release and disconnect electrical connection(9).

Unclip electrical wiring harness (10) (arrow B).

Remove screw (12) and disconnect equipotential bonding line (13) from high-voltage power distributor (1).

Check ground lines for high-voltage on-board electrical system potential equalization

Release expansion reservoir for electric motor cooling system and lift slightly.

 Do not remove lower coolant hose from engine cooling system expansion reservoir.

Unscrew screws (14) and remove bracket (3) from high-voltage power distributor (1).

Unscrew nuts (15) and remove high-voltage power distributor (1).

 Nut, high-voltage power distributor in engine compartment to supporting frame

Install in the reverse order

Perform commissioning of high-voltage power distributor (1) with vehicle diagnosis system.

If high-voltage power distributor (1) is replaced.


