Detach fuel lines (5)

Collect fuel which flows out.

Installation: Install new sealing rings (4).

The fuel heat exchanger must not be disassembled.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not grasp hot or rotating parts.

Start engine and inspect fuel system for leaks

If the engine does not start within 30 s,

wait 1 min. and repeat attempt at starting.
