No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking.
Only pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

Unscrew cap on fuel tank

In this way the fuel can flow out of the filter housing (4) back into the fuel tank.

Clean outside of the fuel prefilter

Remove threaded cap (1) with filter insert (3)

Ensure that no foreign bodies enter the filter housing (4). On no account wipe out filter housing.

Clean threaded cap (1) and filter insert (3)

Replace filter element (3) if severely soiled or damaged.

Install

Inspect seal (2) and replace if necessary.

Lightly grease or oil new seal (2).

Screw cap onto fuel tank

Danger!

Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Start the engine and bleed the fuel system

Run the engine for approx. 1 minute. The fuel system is bled automatically.

Inspect prefilter for leaks

Replace any damaged seals if necessary.

Turn off engine
