Open engine compartment flap

Removing

Disconnect fuel line (4)

To do this remove banjo bolt (2) and catch escaping fuel in a suitable container if necessary.

Disconnect fuel line (7)

To do this remove banjo bolt (5) and catch escaping fuel in a suitable container if necessary.

Remove fuel prefilter (1)

Start by removing screws (8).

Install

Install fuel prefilter (1)

For this purpose, screw in bolts (8).

Attach fuel line (7)

To do this screw in banjo bolt (5) and replace sealing ring (6).

Attach fuel line (4)

To do this screw in banjo bolt (2) and replace sealing ring (3).

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Start engine

If the engine does not start after approx. 30 seconds: wait for one minute and repeat the starting procedure.

Check fuel prefilter (1) for leaks

Turn off engine

Close engine compartment flap
